Corrections and complaints
If we have written about you, listed you in our directory, or published anything you believe is wrong, tell us and we will deal with it. An entry in our directory counts, and so does anything we say about you inside somebody else's entry.
Write to corrections@stage.africa. Say what we published, what is wrong with it, and what you think the correct position is. If you are the person or the organisation we wrote about, say so, because that moves it to the front of the queue.
Corrections are handled by Riaan Burger, who edits this publication. There is no committee, and you do not have to fill in a form. If you would rather use one, our contact page has a form and Editorial is the reason to choose.
We normally acknowledge you within three working days, and within ten working days we either put right what is wrong or tell you why we are not going to. This is a small publication with one editor, so if either takes longer it is because somebody is away, not because you are being ignored.
If we correct something material we say so on the article or the entry itself rather than changing it quietly, because a correction nobody can see is not a correction.
If you are not satisfied with how we handle it, you are not out of options and we would rather you used them than went to a lawyer. Tell us you are not satisfied and we will say plainly what else you can do.
None of this affects any legal right you have, and using it does not require you to give any of them up.
